It's not nonstick. And we won't pretend it is.

A solid titanium deep sauté pan with no coating to wear out, peel, or let you down.

Every nonstick pan made you the same promise, then broke it the same way: the coating wears, food catches, and within a year you're buying another. This pan has nothing to wear out, because nothing's sprayed on it.

The surface is solid titanium, hand-forged with traditional Japanese metalworking. The deeper body gives you room for simmering sauces, larger portions, and one-pan meals, and it cooks like good steel or cast iron: a little oil, a little heat, a proper sear. Other titanium brands swore food slides off a cold, dry pan. Read their reviews. We'd rather tell you the truth and show you how to cook on it.

Why you'll love it:

  • No coating to fail: solid titanium, nothing to peel, flake, or leach into your food.
  • Metal-utensil safe: no finish to scratch, so use any spatula you like.
  • PFAS-free, lab-tested: third-party verified, not just a badge.
  • Depth that earns its place: high walls for searing then simmering down a full sauce, no splatter, no second pan. Buy it once.

Available in different sizes, with or without a matching lid. Works on gas, induction, and ceramic hobs.

Care Instructions

Dishwasher safe, though a quick hand wash with warm soapy water keeps it looking its best. Titanium conducts heat very efficiently, so medium heat is plenty for most cooking.

My best pan ever

I have used many types of pans throughout my life. But there is one pan made of titanium that really impresses me. This pan heats up fast, cooks evenly, and is very easy to wash after cooking.

The problem

You've bought "nonstick" before... how did that go?

It worked for a few months, then the coating wore off and you were back shopping for another one. The problem was never you. It was the coating.

Coating always wears out

Coating always wears out

Every nonstick surface is sprayed on, and sprayed-on finishes peel, flake and stop releasing food. Usually within a year or two. You didn't do anything wrong. It was built to fail.

"Titanium" that isn't

"Titanium" that isn't

Plenty of cheap pans print "titanium" on the box and coat the same fragile finish underneath. You may have already been burned by one. The reviews tell the real story.

The ads oversold every time

The ads oversold every time

"Food slides right off." You've read that line on every pan you've ever binned. The gap between the ad and the pan is exactly why you stopped trusting them.

The Solution

1 pan, nothing to wear out.

No coating means nothing to peel, nothing to replace, and nothing we have to oversell. Here's exactly what you're getting, and what you're not.

It's not nonstick. It's better.
Food releases beautifully, the way it does on good pan made of real titanium.
No coating to fail
No PFAS, no PTFE, no sprayed-on nonstick. The cooking surface is solid titanium, so there's nothing to scratch, peel or flake, this year or in year twenty.
PFAS-free, lab-tested
Third-party verified, not just claimed on a badge.
Built to sear, built to last
Stable to 540°C, so you can sear, sauté and oven-finish without the surface breaking down. The heat that destroys a nonstick pan is the heat this one is made for.
Handcrafted in Japan
Every Gonest pan is handcrafted in Japan, home of the world's most demanding titanium industry. The Japanese supply the aerospace and medical fields, where purity and precision are pass-fail requirements rather than marketing words, and that standard carries into the cookware: precise forming, hand-finished hammering, and quality control measured in single pans, not shipping containers. It's the difference you feel in the balance — and one more claim we can back with documentation.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really safe to cook with?
Yes, and we can prove it rather than badge it. The surface is bare titanium, third-party tested PFAS-free. There's no PTFE or PFOA coating to break down at heat, because there's no coating.
Can I use metal utensils?
Yes, without thinking about it. There's no finish to scratch, so steel spatulas, whisks and tongs are all fine. This is the thing nonstick could never survive.
What heat sources work?
Gas, induction, electric and oven, stable to 540°C. Sear, sauté or oven-finish without the surface degrading. The heat that ruins a nonstick pan is the heat this one is built for.
How does the warranty work?
We provide a lifetime warranty. If it fails through a manufacturing defect, we replace it. There's no coating to wear out, which is the usual reason pans die, so this is a guarantee we can actually afford to make.
Do I need to season it?
No seasoning ritual like cast iron. A quick warm-and-oil before first use helps, and the surface releases better the more you cook on it. That's it.
Will food stick while I'm learning it?
Honestly, maybe, until you get the oil and heat right. It takes a cook or two. We send a one-page guide that gets you there fast. We'd rather set the expectation now than have you leave a one-star review because nobody warned you.
Is it actually nonstick?
No, and anyone selling you a "nonstick titanium pan" is bending the truth. It releases food well with a little oil and proper heat, the same way good steel or cast iron does. What it won't do is let you fry an egg in a cold, dry pan. The trade-off is that there's no coating to wear out, so it cooks like this on day one and in year twenty. If you specifically want effortless cold-release, buy nonstick again, and replace it again next year.
How is this different from the cheap "titanium" pans I've seen?
Most of those print "titanium" on the box and hide the same sprayed-on coating underneath. Ours has no coating at all, the cooking surface is solid titanium. The honest test: ask any titanium brand for a third-party PFAS report on the actual pan.
Where are these pans made?
In Japan, by titanium specialists. Japan runs the most demanding titanium industry in the world. Its mills supply the aerospace and medical fields, where purity and precision are checked, not claimed. Our pans are handcrafted within that industry, and like everything else on this page, the origin is documented.
