A solid Japanese titanium cutting surface with nothing on it that expires: the last board you'll ever buy.

Count what the board drawer has cost you. Plastic grooves and gets binned every year. Wood wants oiling and sanding and still stains. And the "titanium" board that warped in the dishwasher or rusted in a month? Here's the truth about that one: titanium cannot rust and cannot warp at kitchen temperatures, physically, ever. When a "titanium" board dies, it isn't a bad board. It's a confession that it was never titanium.

This one is different where it counts. Both sides are solid 100% Grade 1 commercially pure titanium with no coating on top, and that is the entire reason we can say this: nothing on this board expires. There is no layer to wear through, no edge to rust, no surface to reapply. Cut on it daily, run it through the dishwasher, and it works the same in year twenty as it did in week one.

Why you'll love it:

  • Nothing to wear out: no coating, no treatment, no oiling, no sanding, no rebuying
  • Can't rust, can't warp: real titanium is physically incapable of either at kitchen temperatures
  • Dishwasher safe: no plastic side to warp, so the dishwasher promise actually holds
  • Wear vs. patina, honestly: the surface takes light knife marks over time. That's not wear, nothing is coming off the board. It's the same patina an heirloom cast iron pan carries, and it's why this board is kinder to your knives than glass or ceramic.
  • A warranty that can mean it: lifetime coverage on the cutting surface, because the surface is the board

Available in four sizes from S to L, or as a full bundle. One decision, and the cycle ends.

Does it Dull Knives?

Yes, a little faster than end grain wood. We would rather say so than have you find out.

Titanium is much softer than your blade. Grade 1 sits around 120 on the Vickers scale and knife steel is 550 to 650, so it cannot grind your edge away the way glass or ceramic can. What it does is refuse to give. Wood parts under a blade and closes again behind it. Titanium stays put, so the edge rolls sooner.

Rolled is not blunt. Ten seconds on a honing rod, once a week, puts it back. Honing removes no metal, unlike sharpening, which you will still only need a few times a year.

In exchange: nothing to oil or reseal, no hand washing, no knife grooves to scrub out, no warping or staining, and no replacing it in two years. It goes in the dishwasher.

One honest trade, and we think it is the good side of it.

Why is it Worth The Money?

Our titanium board represents a one-time investment in your kitchen's future.

Unlike traditional boards that need frequent replacement due to warping, bacteria buildup, or wear, our board maintains its pristine condition for life while protecting your family's health through its naturally inert, bacteria-resistant surface.

Products are really great.

Products are really great. Bought pans and cutting boards from there. Cleaning is very easy and quick and also without any traces of plastic or bacteria. I am going to remain healthy always with these products.

The problem

How is every board in the bin already?

Because the category is built on rebuying. Plastic grooves, wood demands upkeep, and fake "titanium" dies fastest of all.

The yearly plastic board

The yearly plastic board

Plastic boards groove with every knife stroke until they get binned, usually within the year. Buy, groove, bin, repeat. The drawer keeps count even if you do not.

Wood: a board with a chore list

Wood: a board with a chore list

Oil it monthly, sand it when it stains, keep it out of the sink, and it still holds onto smells. The maintenance is part of the price, forever.

The "titanium" that died in a month

The "titanium" that died in a month

Stained in a month, rusted at the edges, warped in the dishwasher. Titanium can do none of these, physically. So when a "titanium" board fails, it is not a bad board. It is a confession that it was never titanium.

THE SOLUTION

Nothing on this board expires

This category burned the permanence promise once, so we will not use adjectives. Here is the mechanism: what the board is made of, why it cannot fail the way the others did, and the warranty that proves we mean it.

Can't rust, can't warp, can't wear through
Titanium does not rust, does not warp at kitchen temperatures, and has no coating to wear through, because there is no coating at all. Both cutting surfaces are solid 100% Grade 1 commercially pure titanium. The failures you have watched other boards perform are physically unavailable to this one.
No oiling, no sanding, no rebuying
Wood asks for a maintenance schedule. Plastic asks to be replaced. This board asks nothing: rinse it or run it through the dishwasher, every wash, for life. A board with nothing to protect has nothing for you to do.
A warranty that covers the cutting surface
Fake boards exclude the surface in the fine print, or sell the warranty separately. Ours covers the cutting surface for life, in writing, because the surface is the board. That is easy to promise when the material cannot fail.
Handcrafted in Japan
Every Gonest board is handcrafted in Japan, home of the world's most demanding titanium industry. The Japanese supply the aerospace and medical fields, where purity and precision are pass-fail requirements rather than marketing words, and that standard carries into the boards: precise forming and quality control measured in single boards, not shipping containers. It's the difference you feel in the balance — and one more claim we can back with documentation.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it actually last?
Indefinitely, used normally. Titanium does not rust, does not warp at kitchen temperatures, and has no coating to wear through, so there is no degradation mechanism. The warranty is lifetime because the material is.
My last "titanium" board rusted or warped. How is this different?
That board was never titanium. Real titanium cannot rust or warp at kitchen temperatures, physically. This board is solid 100% Grade 1 commercially pure titanium on both sides, with the lab certificate in the box to prove it.
Does it need any maintenance?
None. No oiling, no sanding, no conditioning, no special soap. Rinse it or run it through the dishwasher. That is the entire care manual, for life.
Will it scratch over time?
It picks up light knife marks, because real titanium is softer than hardened blade steel. That is patina, not wear: nothing comes off the board and nothing soaks into the non-porous metal. The same record of use an heirloom cast iron pan carries.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes, every wash, for life. There is no coating to protect and no plastic side to warp, so the dishwasher promise actually holds.
Why is it worth more than a plastic board?
Count what the board drawer has cost you in ten years. Plastic gets rebought yearly, wood demands upkeep, and fake "titanium" fails fastest of all. You pay the titanium price once, and the cycle ends. The expensive option is the one that keeps failing.
Where are these boards made?
In Japan, by titanium specialists. Japan runs the most demanding titanium industry in the world. Its mills supply the aerospace and medical fields, where purity and precision are checked, not claimed. Our boards are handcrafted within that industry, and like everything else on this page, the origin is documented.
